The Last Mission for Endeavor

The Space Shuttle Endeavour lifted off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center at 8:56 a.m. EDT this morning to complete its final mission. It was Authorized by Congress in August 1987 as a replacement for the Space Shuttle Challenger. Today’s mission, STS-134, is to deliver a Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) and spare parts to the International Space Station.
